* by train
Take the train Brussels - Ostend, get off in Bruges (after about 1 hour) and go the main exit (center).
Our house is just 7 minutes away from the trainstation. (by foot). Click here for a map
In case you have a lot of luggage, you easily find a cab in front of the trainstation.

* by car
From Brussels you take the direction Ghent and Ostend. Take the E40 and leave at the exit Bruges. The road changes into "expresweg". Continue driving along this road en turn right at the 3rd traficlight. (Do not take the tunnel but drive next to the tunnel and then turn right.) Now you are driving on the N32 (Torhoutsesteenweg) to the center of Bruges. Go straight on until you pass a traficlight and 20 metres further you drive under a trainbridge. Right in front of you, you see a medieval citygate. (Smedenpoort.) Five metres before this gate, you go to the right between the trees (Buiten Boeverievest.) On your right you see a little bridge.

parking
You can unload in our street, but the parkingspaces are for the inhabitants.
There's a cheap parkingspace at the staion. For only 3,5€ a day you can park 24/24 including free bus transport from and to the centre. You can easily go from our house to the station by foot. It takes only10 minutes. (1,1 km / 0.68 miles).

This is only 800 m away (0.5 miles) but costs 8,7€ a day.
